About me

I recently finished my bachelor’s degree in IT Product Development.

During a summer school course in Helsinki in the summer of 2012, I decided to go in the opposite direction of the masses: Go travel instead of doing the Master’s.

So you’re taking a gap year? Cool, but why the site?

Well… My travels are dual-purposed; The site is partly for my friends and family, but also for the people I meet along the way. Additionally, I hope that my traveling experiences (in combination with my other site) can help future international students decide, where they want to go and maybe ease the transition phase going from studying home to studying abroad.

When I’m not studying or trying out new things (like doing this blog), I like to kite surf and remind myself that I once promised myself to learn Chinese… and drink wine.

Preferably red.
